Special post: want your input

I'm sorry to report, guys, that Adam didn't make a peep last night.

But, we're still glad you visited today, because we're looking for some input regarding t-shirts. We're going to launch the line this week, and we have to pick the shirts themselves.

Would people prefer shirts that cost $17.50, with 6 color choices (black, brown, royal blue, dark blue, red, bright green), or shirts for $22.50, with 10 color choices (those others, plus aubergine, orange, slate gray, olive)?

Oh, and shipping worldwide will be available, so don't despiar, Brits!

We'll keep an eye out for your comments. Thanks in advance!

  1. What about turquoise? :D The coolest color ever! :)

  2. depends on the quality of the shirts...

  3. Hi there Karen,

thanks for the big work your doing for keeping us all entertained!

Why not make the t-shirts only black - like the dark of the night. With the text in white with enlarged quotationmarks and maybe written with a typewriter-font ( typography )? To enhance the picture of someone actually live-typing the quotes. Good luck with the project

  4. I routinely choose black for t-shirts, there's a suspicion that this technique is widely shared.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I think you should go for the shirt that includes aubergine as a color since Adam hates aubergine. It would be the height of irony to have Sleep Talkin' Man quotes about hating aubergines on an aubergine-colored shirt.

    ReplyDelete
  6. lower price - get those things out the door.
and keep the profanity off - oh and i hope those aren't your real names....

    ReplyDelete
  7. More colors are better, I think. However, it's also important to have possibility to order t-shirts from outside the UK without too big postage costs.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Lower cost, fewer colours. It's a meme shirt, the fact that it comes in more than one colour is already cause for celebration :)

    ReplyDelete
  9. My first thought was lower price. But LakotaWolf is right. Aubergine is a must.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'd pay $50 for one that says 'Cockhunter', whatever the colour. Although I see the point about aubergine.

    ReplyDelete
  11. less expensive good quality = more people wearing STM shirts!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Low cost.
And how about shipping to other countries? (Like The Netherlands...)

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'd love to wear an STM quote or two... I'm thinking that just "Sleep Talkin' Man" isn't much of a "brand", and "Vampire penguins? Zombie guinea pigs? We're done for.... done for." turns heads sooo much better!

And don't worry about the profanity - keep it in some of the shirts. Tshirthell.com is proof that those will sell, too.

That being said, I'm all about base colors, and usually just end up buying black.

The lower price will get them sold faster for you, as well.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I would definitely recommend "$17.50 with 6 colour choices" over the more expensive option. Better for you (and STM) and better for your admiring public.

No thanks to the previous idiot posters who decided to post but not answer your question.

PS To the naysayers: "Oh, the goats."

(From a Spike Milligan WWII story about this exact same sleep-speaking condition. Did anyone at all get that reference?)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Would much rather have cheaper than more colors. Also...would kill to have that quote about ducks and responsibility and the swing on a t-shirt. Will you ship to South Korea?

    ReplyDelete
  16. As long as 'now fuck off and let me bask in the glory of how awesome I am' is available as a design, I don't mind either price! :P

    ReplyDelete
  17. Price is not as important as quality - I wouldn't have a cheapy flimsy see-through lose-its-shape shirt at any price, but would compromise on colour if it was going to be substantial and good quality.

Size and shape is also more important than price. I'm not ever ever ever going to buy any more XL unisex shirts, I have dozens already! Ladies' fit ones in a small size would be much more likely to hit my shopping basket.

Quotes too. Like the above commenter, I would so want one saying "Vampire penguins? Zombie guinea pigs? We're done for... done for." Not nearly so fussed about a generic Sleep Talkin' Man one I'm afraid.

(PS Tried to post under my LiveJournal name but it wouldn't let me, so I've had to go anonymous. Sorry! - Darth_Tigger)

  18. ...also, anonymous troll/flamer, if this blog is bullshit, WHY ARE YOU READING IT? The great thing about the internet is that little 'x' in the upper right hand corner. It isn't required reading for school.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Any thoughts on things like mugs too?

    ReplyDelete
  20. will they JUST be t-shirts or are you doing female skinny t-shirts too?

am happy with the 6 coloures BUT i'd love to see the phrase "can't controls the kitten, too many wiskers, too many wiskers" become one of the favs, Cats rules.

  21. I am from Brazil and I loved the Adam sleep talking. Really funny stuff. But since he curse like a pirate when sleeping is not exacty a family site. But a really funny one!

Does not matter how many colors, I would love to get the hands on one.

Have you thought about making a podcast with Adam's audio?

    ReplyDelete
  22. LOVE the blog! I personally own a t-shirt that says: "Do I look like a FUCKING people person?"

But I can't wear that in public because it would tarnish my professional reputation--although I see that my favorite quote is everyone's favorite--the one about having a sack, all mine

Anyway--agree about sizes and quality--need smaller sizes and would LOVE all cotton--they fade so much more nicely. The more colors, the merrier...

THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this blog. Can't wait to get my t-shirt!!

  23. dnt care which color as lng as its not white!! plus get worldwide shipping option soon...
and am not a Brit either :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. i would love to get one in any colour, as long as it's funny and good quality. please ship to australia!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I think I would go for the low cost. But then again, I'm not particularly attached to any of the additional colors. By the way, thanks for this amazing site! It makes me happy inside. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  26. You should hold design contests for the top ones. Some of these would be great in a WOOT (http://shirt.woot.com/) style artist design.

Also if it's designed, there would really only be one or two colors that would fit the design...

I'd vote for a $10 sale shirt (one color) and the rest $15. Limit the colors if that makes it cheaper.

    ReplyDelete
  27. A cheaper shirt is nice, but not at the cost of quality.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well if I'm the douchebag, you're the contents. iS THE BEST ONE BY FAR. I also am a fan of the zombie guinie pigs comment. Freaking hilarious. Make them cheap, we are in a recession still.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Expanded color choice. And please include the quote about your eyes are fat. Too funny.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It occurred to me that the link to the WOOT shirt would only show one design, this WOOT blog post would give a better idea of what I'm talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Why not try to create a line on cafepress.com
The nice thing about that link is you don't have much of a startup cost. You can then see what color shirts are selling without having boxes of t-shirts at the printers.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thank you so much for the input everyone. This is so exciting!

We are going to have the shirts done at Spreadshirt.com. They're like CafePress, an online print-on-demand shop, but the printing is much better quality and the prices are a bit lower. It means we don't get to pick and choose colors, we just choose which shirt style, and then it comes in the various colors that one comes in. From all of the feedback, it sounds like we'll go for the cheaper option in 6 colors, but we'll be open to expanding it to the more expensive shirt if we get a strong call for it. Don't worry, that shirt is meant to be nice and soft, good quality. Oh, and we're going to do messenger bags as well!

I'm pretty sure that they do ship everywhere in the world, I apologize that it will probably be a bit pricey for places like Australia.

We'll start with 8 or 10 quotes, but we'll add more as we go along. I hope everyone who wants a shirt will find one that makes them happy.

I'll put up a post when it's all ready to go!

    Thanks,
    Karen

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well you can't live out aubergine can you? There's a bit of history with that one.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Maybe we could pick a color!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I would pay through the nose for a shirt (any color) with "Legs time! Everybody get your legs!"

    ReplyDelete
  36. I too would only really like more of a choice when it comes to size as opposed to color. (female sizes).

    ReplyDelete
  37. Any color would work, but sizing should definitely be considered carefully and be made available to male and female customers. These would sell like hotcakes. "You'll want to save your applause for later."

    ReplyDelete
  38. love the aubergine but will buy whatever u decide to print :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'd go with the cheaper ones. I'd prefer white, but if you don't have it...

Are you putting phrases on the shirts? I'd like some that read:
"Legs time! Everybody get your legs!"
    and,
"I haven't put on weight. Your eyes are fat."
    and especially,
"Hey I know you, but I don't like your face. Take it off... That's much better, much better."
    lol! Great stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  40. As long as they're quality shirts that won't shrink up right after 1 wash, then go with the cheaper probably....although i do have to agree with whoever said above to add aubergine ;) maybe we can add that to the "6 colors" and remove brown?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Less cost, fewer colors, please.

My personal favorite? "I haven't put on weight. Your eyes are fat."

And the vampire penguins, of course!

    ReplyDelete
  42. chili in the vagiiiiiina....a must pick.

    ReplyDelete
  43. 6 colours would be enough I think - especially once you add in p&p.

    ReplyDelete
  44. $17.50!! All I need is black :) I buy many of your hilarious shirts :P

    ReplyDelete
  45. Sorry, I wouldn't buy a shirt for either of those prices, yes the things are funny but I don't think with the economy the way it is people will want to drop $17.50 +shipping (normally $5.99) on a T-Shirt. Find a way to make it cheaper, and I think you've got yourself a buiseness...like 2 for $15 or something, selling more will make up for making them cheaper. Simply Said, Less Cost Fewer Colors. You could go as simple as Black, Blue, Brown, Green, (Maybe White, but White sucks.....really)

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think that it is best to limit the choices at first. Keep it simple. The best things in life are simple, sweet and natural. Keep in mind that I would not pay more than $20 for a T-shirt.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Best to keep it below $20, whatever the choices.

    ReplyDelete
  48. cheaper is better for the first go round. seems like others agree.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Can I have one in black, xxl, with "I haven't put on weight, your eyes are fat" please to the uk asap. I'm soooo in love with this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Cheaper price please. Almost any one of his sayings would make for a great shirt!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'd love one that says: "Chili in the vagiiiina." With "I'm a bad bad boy" on the back!

    ReplyDelete
  52. "Legs time" on a messenger bag please!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Please do not get all fancy with the fonts. I recommend you use Helevtica for all and be done with it. Comic sans will just break my heart.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I mirror the comments about decent quality and lower price = quite a few STM shirts on my chest!!

Oh...and for those that don't like the profanity... you can fuck off! Don't get a shirt that has it!

    Cockhunters.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Well, it's $5 difference. How much will shipping be? I say go for the least amount, that way you move more product, & don't have potential buyers squirming about paying $22.50 + shipping.
"But thats' just my opinion. Don't take it personal."

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm a Brit, posting this comment from...well britain. I recently sold a small printing company and I know that there is more cost effective routes than this for the British side of things at least. I can tell you how to do it for as little as $14 with a choice of 19 colours and still make yourself a modest profit (as i'm sure thats the real motivation behind doing this!). The colours on offer would be Steel Blue, Ash, Black, Bottle Green, Burgundy, Deep Navy, Heather Grey, Khaki, Zinc, White, Navy, Olive Green, Orange, Red, Royal Blue, Sky Blue, Sunflower and Chocolate. Give me a shout if you want some help with the UK manufacture and distribution via e-mail - properjohnstone@hotmail.com.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Hahahaha! I'm thinking, "Do you like what you see? Well look fucking harder" boxers, or briefs even!
I'd wear them, not an ego thing I'm married so no one would ever see them.

    ReplyDelete
  58. 'No, you have to use a really sharp knife, and cut from ear to ear' - spoken loud and clear in the middle of the night by my sleeping mother, to the alarm of my poor father.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Great freaking idea -- the whole t-shirts with STM quotes. Just do it. [BTW, do you think Adam was silent last night because he's trying to build suspense?]

    ReplyDelete
  60. Cheap ones. And create an English store!

    ReplyDelete
  61. less colors, less price!

    ReplyDelete
  62. How about a cheap white shirt for $4.00 with just sleep talkin man thingy on it. Can you do that?

  64. Cheapest please, I do enjoy sleep talkin' man, but more than 20 dollars for a t-shirt is just outside the realm of logical to me.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Cheap cheap cheapest, please. Can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I would love to see tshirts with some of Adam's sayings, but I agree no profanity on them! Also, I think that as long as the cost is reasonable and the quality is there, then they'll be great sellers!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I vote for whichever is cheapest. I think black is probably the most popular choice anyway, followed by white.
Can't wait to see the tees!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. My favorite new blog! Thanks for sharing. I haven't stopped laughing. And I like black T-shirts.

    ReplyDelete
  69. The cheaper ones. DEFINITELY the cheaper ones.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I can't believe it has taken me this long to find this blog! Your husband is an EPIC, epic legend.
I frequent comedy gigs like they are going out of fashion but I haven't laughed at half of them as hard as I laughed at this, I utterly disgraced myself, it was wonderful. I sent links to my friends and they said the same.
As to the t-shirts (mugs, bags, knickers, boxers maybe?) I think lower cost/fewer colours for now, you can always expand later I'm sure. I think as a meme shirt the fact we have choice is a bonus tbh. Whatever happens I will be getting some and have them on my birhday/christmas present list as I have more than one favourite line!! My request would be: 'Please, please keep the profanity in for some shirts, just so us consenting adults can have the choice'...I too would pay big money for some of Adam's legendary lines with naughty words!
I have to admit I have a little web crush on this blog..props to you! x
I tried to log in so I didn't look like a stalker but spannered out and couldn't sorry...I'll be back tomorrow for the next installment x

    ReplyDelete
  71. 6 colors for $15.00 is my pick.

    ReplyDelete
  72. cheap for the college students among us please!

    ReplyDelete
  73. guys, a $15 dollar shirt would have to be a total p.o.s. to be "low quality". it's fifteen dollars!!! for a t-shirt. i think that's quite high enough. 22.50 for a t???? at a concert, maybe.

and, read the post. the cost difference clearly has to do with having more colors to choose from (NOT quality). if you want a freakin' turquoise STM shirt, go make your own. sorry, but this poor american would like to buy an affordable shirt.

    ReplyDelete
  74. whoa. make that seventeen dollars. i'm out. way too much for a t-shirt that doesn't have a picture of Bono on it...especially with shipping added on top. i realize it's probably related to the number you order, and you have to pay for them up front, so you order less and the price is higher. but, da-yam. pretty high.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Love the site! From a business point of view I'd say go with the slightly cheaper options with more regular colours...

    ReplyDelete
  76. I agree with the commenter who said please keep the font simple. Helvetica = good, Comic Sans = I will NEVER buy...

(sorry, us graphic designers have a thing about fonts.)

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ha! Just when I thought I was the only one...

    http://takingthehead.blogspot.com/

Way not as offensive as your husband! I'd love to know what you think. Thanks, Rob

    ReplyDelete
  78. Keep it inexpensive. simple colors will sell better, especially if the shirts only have quotations.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I say go with less expensive because when you add shipping costs, they'll likely be over $20 anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Nice, market research.
My suggestions would be to follow market research and have them made in China with synthetic materials, or to do it a manner that pleases you and if they don't sell, just make the price higher until they do.

    ReplyDelete
  81. cheaper the better.

And to compensate for Adam's lack of words last night, here's what my very own husband said during his Sunday afternoon nap:

Him: Hey, did you light the heater?
Me:(not realizing he was sleeping) Yeah
Him: Well you better go tie some balloons to the wheelbarrow.
    Me: Okay...? (realizing he's sleeping)
Him: I am not playing around either.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I prefer the more unique colors (orange, aubergine, olive), but even more importantly, please offer up a "Ladies' style" option -- something cut trimmer and cuter than a regular boxy tee (which I definitely won't buy no matter what the color choices are).

    ReplyDelete
  83. Your blog is hilarious! My sister always says I talk in my sleep, but nothing like your husband! This is great and I can't wait to read up on more of it! I don't think it matters what color the T-shirts are, just as long as they go up for sale soon!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Just stumbled onto the blog today; love it! I have an ex-BF who might have warranted his own blog, too. Who knew? Brilliant idea! Definitely produce messenger bags, please, and possibly mugs :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. Because you are so STUBBORN, that's why I have to enter lawsuits. You and I both fight on personal blogs, then it's okay. When u used me for stories to make money, then it's not okay.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I have told u a thousand times to settle, but you refused; therefore, you have the result like today and throughout this yr. I'm not going to guarantee that u will be a crimminal free, but I will use whatever I can to win the case!

    ReplyDelete
  87. i want an aubergine t shirt...i'd pay the extra money

    ReplyDelete
  88. no matter what you choose im buying a bunch. this is hilarious. and don't listen to the people who say keep the profanity off...it sometimes adds to the comedy.

    ReplyDelete
  89. agree with the ladies style option!

    ReplyDelete
  90. "Don't... Don't put the noodles and the dumplings together in the boat. They'll fight! The noodles are bullies. Poor dumplings."

    ReplyDelete
  91. Cheaper shirts with fewer colors would be best. If people don't like the colors they can just get black or white, I would think.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I like having more color choices. Please do one for the comment, please walk away before I say something so awesome I'll have to remember it for the rest of the day...

    ReplyDelete
  93. If you're going through Spreadshirt, you can have a choice of T-shirt styles, including organic cotton, American Apparel (so you know the workers were reasonably paid) and ladies' shirts. There really is no need to pick a single type of shirt.

http://amorphia-apparel.com/ is an example of a typical Spreadshirt shop. Some T-shirts are already set up, with a particular colour printing on a particular colour and style of T-shirt for quick ordering. But you can also go through the Custom shop to change the shirt to suit you.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Sorry but I don't believe these are true sleeptalks. They are very funny, but I believe they are the work of a conscious mind coming up with admittedly very entertaining witticisms and insults, rather than the random ramblings of someone who is genuinely asleep. Post some videos on youtube to prove it! And if there are videos on youtube already, I apologise in advance and retract this statement!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Oops, I mean just black. I didn't realize white wasn't an option. (That's somewhat surprising, actually. o.O)

    ReplyDelete
  96. I like the 22 dollar aubergine/olive option

    ReplyDelete
  97. I vote no on the aubergine, because Adam doesn't like them!
And I, too, vote for black with white font.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Either option is Ok with me but it is usually the shipping costs that us Brits find expensive and of course out of everyone's control, unless you are the postmaster general! Look forward to seeing the tee's when they are available! Woo Hoo!

    ReplyDelete
  99. I'm an olympic penny-squeezing UK student, so the cheaper option is alway a must. Black is best (remember to invert the colour of black text to white, though...that's gone wrong far too often for it to be funny!)

    ReplyDelete
  100. I would love a T-shirt totally covered in evrything your husband have said in his sleep

    ReplyDelete
  101. Well, couldn't we just make our own T-shirts with the quotes from this website? For example, you could make a t-shirt at printfection.com for $2 (+shipping). It would be much cheaper for us. Of course, you wouldn't be making a profit, which I assume is the whole point of this website. Cheers.

    ReplyDelete
  102. just go with black and make them $10.

    ReplyDelete
  103. When I buy shirts here in the US, I have to get them cdustom made which normally runs 22 dollars. I would not mind paying that price for a black one!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Cant wait to buy one! The $17.50 colours sound good to me...

    ReplyDelete
  105. Can't believe how gullible you people are! Someone starts a blog claiming to be true when we really have no clue if it's true or not, just a few days after starting it they are already cranking out the t-shirt line, and everyone sucks it up and gets ready to part with $17 or however much! I love the way they disguise their cunning market research designed to get feedback so that they don't print a load of t-shirts in the wrong that nobody buys.... actually, hold on, it's not even cunningly disguised, it's blatantly obvious! Seriously suckers - the quotes are hilarious don't get me wrong, but I smell some serious BS!

    ReplyDelete
  106. Got to love the profanity! You definitely want good quality. AS for me being from NZ I would be looking at double the price and its still totally worth it!!Good Luck

    ReplyDelete
  107. Claudia: Who gives a shit..really? I get something out of it if I get a t-shirt that makes me smile. They get my money. I don't care if the words came from a sleeping man, an awake man or a team of writers or, in fact, a bloody great talking arse they make me laugh.
Why do you care enough to bleat about it? fcuk off and don't buy one..they can't suck your cash out through your eyes. Really what do you think you have achieved apart from looking like a whiny b!tch?
I hope you at least feel superior to everyone else for spotting this 'blatant bs' to make up for being such a grade A pain in the hole.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I have a tendency of chosing dark over light, but i REALLY liked the idea with the black shirt and white typewriter font. i can't really decide a quote now, and i also think the price should be kept under 20$.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  113. I posted my extensive reply on FaceBook last night, but it is interesting to read peoples' opinions. The same people who cry CHEAPER CHEAPER CHEAPER will be the first to complain when the shirts fall apart.

I work at a market selling funny T-shirts for $29 each or 2 for $50. They sell fine, and the quality is really good. From looking here I honestly think you could start with 2 colours only, black and white and once the orders start rolling in extend the colour range. Make sure you research your supplier really well because I'm sure you shouldn't have to pick between 2 choices that won't 100% work, and as this venture will be coming out your pocket you need to be 100% sure, yeah? People will vote for what suits them the best, hence of course they will say cheaper... but in reality they will be picking 1 to 2 shirts only and one of those will surely be black.

Remember price IMPLIES quality. The real product here is the wording, and the wording is quality all the way. If you did the shirts in 2 colours (black and white- I personally LOVE the type writer font idea too, it's called 'american type writer' I believe) and get the cut and sizing right, you will surely suceed. Maybe consider offering a bulk deal where the more you buy the cheaper they get?

    Again, GOOD LUCK!

  114. Lower cost please. I personally don't like any of the extra color choices myself (funny black t-shirts FTW!)

  115. Any chance you'll have one with the kittens quote? I love the "too many whiskers!"

    ReplyDelete
  116. I'd like a T-shirt that says, "Don't forget to dry clean the baby."

    ReplyDelete
  117. as long as the quality is the same go with the cheaper shirt, if the quality gets dramatically worse on the cheaper shirt compared to the more expensive one go with the more expensive one... but if quality is only slightly worse cheaper is better.

  118. 17.50's way better

    ReplyDelete
  119. white and grey would be great too - you could do the 17.50 and just make shirts in all neutral colors, neutral colors get more wear than other colors. just a tip :) -zoe

  120. 17.50 with 6 colour choices. the colors are not important. it is what's written on them that counts!

  121. For saving $5 I'm willing to pass up my olive for dark green.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I vote no on the aubergine, because Adam doesn't like them!

    ReplyDelete
  123. I prefer the cheaper shirts, because that allows me to buy more; not just for myself, but for my brothers as well who i have no doubt, will find these just as hilarious as I do!

    ReplyDelete
  124. Much rather the $17.50 prices, it's a tshirt so thats still a good variety of choices to pick from. :)

  125. As long as I can wear something that says, "I didn't gain weight. Your eyes are fat," I'd wear the ugliest color imaginable. Comic Gold.

  126. Did you guys watch the last episode of Biggest Looser

    ReplyDelete
  127. Dont mind but make them in lots of sizes because there are some fat gits like me out there and also some of us have ENORMOUS norks which tends to stretch the text on tighter tshirts which wrecks it pretty quickly. So... BIG tshirts please 3xl at lesat, some of us like to wear them to bed as nightshirts (ooh a sleeptalkinman nightshirt oh yes!)

    ReplyDelete
  128. oh you can't use aubergine. doesn't adam hate aubergine? lol

    ReplyDelete
  129. Turquoise, I agree. I would just like to say this completely made my day and I would definately get a shirt!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Oh my gosh...your hubby is a hoot!! All mine does is snore...he has quite a variety of snores though...all of them quite annoying at all times of night!
I'd go with the 17.00 shirts. I'm sure that everyone could find something they like amongst those colours.

  131. 'now fuck off and let me bask in the glory of how awesome I am' I want this on a mug and a shirt!!! The shirts are really expensive though. With shipping I am pretty sure I couldn't afford one. So I say lower price less colors too.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Maybe you've done this already, but you need to video tape this and put it on YouTube! You could make a ton more money that way. Just put a tripod up so the wifey doesn't need to be a part of it(I know I wouldn't want to be in it) and then delete the slow parts.

  133. Aubergine! And, if at all feasible, a ladies' style. Oh, and can the hilarious comments from Claudia about how we're all too gullible be incorporated on the back, along with her email address? Bwaa-ha-ha!

  134. I don't care what the price is!!! This is the best site I have found in a long time!!! My husband just got home and I told him about "cock hunter" and he is still laughing! I have paid top dollar for a tee I have wanted and I would DEFINITELY buy one of these!

  135. Not so much about the T-shirts, just glad the poor boy finally got a solid night's sleep. Would you please spike his punch for tonight though? We can't have too many nights like last night! :-) Thanks for sharing

  137. How about quality black shirts with white writing and make sure you have LARGE sizes! Good luck with your endeavor.

  138. the plain 6 colors is fine for me. i'd love to have a "Don't leave the duck there" shirt, that's amazing

  139. The cheaper ones.

  140. please, here from Spain we'd like to have the possibility to order t-shirts too!
    :)

    ReplyDelete
  141. I'd leave it at the colors you have now. Sub-$20 is a good price, I think. Although olive is pretty tempting. I think it would look pretty good with some of the quotes.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Also, I'm a little curious about the differences in color selections currently for men's and women's shirts. I chose navy blue, but I probably would have chosen royal blue if it had been available for women. In fact, I would think royal blue seems more for women and dark gray for men rather than the reverse. Then again, I'm guessing black will be the popular color.

  143. Would love a mug (the duck one).

  144. As a creative director, I don't really care for the t-shirt design. There's so much going on that the focal point isn't the text - which is the most important part. The first think your eye sees is the box and the ZZZZZZ's surrounding the text, making these appear overly gratuitous. I'd push those back to a light gray, and make the text really stand out! Just my $.02. Oh, and everyone who says this is made up - you're just jealous. Brilliance like this cannot be made up so get over it and just be happy that someone else is half as funny in their sleep as you are in waking life! Oh ps, my vote is also to keep the profanity off the shirts.

  145. Can we buy the tee shirts in England please?

    ReplyDelete
  146. Can you include the whole comment about the Duck?

I think the box and zzz's are good. Maybe not so promenant. They're a brand. Otherwise it's just another tshirt with words.
