Karen's notes: Adam and I have this debate many mornings about which quote to post on the Facebook fan page. I always love the bizarre ones, particularly those involving animals. Adam is generally better at predicting what the Facebook fans will enjoy.

Today, he's pushing for sparkly world, but I'm a fan of Mr. Latino Octopus at the dance-off. I mean, come on, doesn't that bring up the most fabulous image of a super-suave octopus with a big black moustache and snappy shoes on each of his eight tentacle-feet?

Ah well, I trust his judgment, since— in this— he's usually right and I'm usually wrong (yes, Adam, it happens occasionally, don't get used to it).

Merch update: "If Jesus loves me" is in the shops!

  1. I love it all. :) The sparkly world is kind of a nice inspirational thought. Maybe Adam is convincing STM to have a brighter outlook on life sometimes?

  2. I love these ones today! The sparkly one pretty much sums up how ive been feeling lately.

Oh and so does the asshole one ;)

  3. "Sparkly" may just become my new e-mail signature. "Mr. Latino Octopus" needs a drawing. "Be nice" must become a coffee mug. "The revolution" requires a petition to the BBC. Best night ever - I'll be smiling all day.

  31. I have no reason to believe these posts are not from a sleeping man. It amuses me to believe they are. And even if they weren't I'd still be amused. I also have better things to do then worry about it either way anyway. Sounds like somebody needs a few extra sparklys, so here's a few for everyone here. Swooshy woofy phew

  36. I'm not dancing with an octopus, LW/wts. I'm sorry, but... just... NO! I just won't! I damn sure won't pay for the experience, which if experienced at all, will be over my most strenuous objections.

I won't dance with the lobster either! Let the world trip as it may, but I'll have nothing of it! I wish to be envied by no one, especially the sorts of individuals who would consider dancing with a large crustacean to be informed decision! They have their place in the world, and they're welcome to it! Fortunately, for all involved, I live nowhere near it!

You don't have operators standing by either! No one answered! NO ONE!!!!!

now on the other hand, in a street party of the costumed kind, that would be the experience to recall and mesmerise from the future lookin' back, watchin' your back, stabbin' your back with the crazy experience so silly, one could say...a rousing oceanic themed day of celebra from that hallowed weened day in Octoberfestival of seeing things seasonally.

This dancer at heart will join'in with that glitteron glittery outfit as normal linedance attire to blend in with the hilarity of it all...sea, sun, fun and fashioned on a runway open to the public close to a mardigras in the neck of the woods, a toosummed up day event where we let loose from the stresses and let down the tresses to a celebration of all things we sea and sail away for a short stince and free to be you and me in a planned event worth lookin'glassed forward to too good to pass up, 2 danced by 2 by 4 by 6 by ate...that was greatbait...sideliner welcomes to realin the occaision; dance what you feel, besides, swaying with the breeze is bendy followed by a dance linned in the crowd of wobblin' to 'I Got A Feeling -gotgotgotgot-
BEPEA'd to close it down with... hippy hippy shakeshake amongst the danceoffs all abouts the venue, a seaing is believing where the nightzzz gonna be a good night, let’s live it up, lets paint the town (paint the town), we’ll shut it down (shut it down)...Lets 'burn' the roof and then we’ll do it again...heel, toe, stepstep, step on step...spin'inturn, heal it again...the sound of musique to our ears and a takeaway journey for a day, a nice revelation; soo, break a leg and sweg it up. . . .up,up,up,up...glitzed, blitzed
...in a good way! oh, nice.

  40. Please put the sparkly comment on a women's t-shirt - the missus loves it!

  41. We have that song on the Lara Croft Tomb Raider soundtrack. Good song. Better than Latino Octopuses (though I prefer them to sparkly-ness).

    ReplyDelete
  42. Certainly the octopus! That would make a great shirt. It would need an octopus in the stereotypical hat with a rose in its mouth (moved higher up to see it) with a blur for legs. Yes. I would want that shirt.
