Karen's notes: I was utterly baffled by the gibberish, but Adam suggested that he's in a foreign language class. You know, like, amo, amas, amat...
does... does STM have multiple personalities? =O
ReplyDeleteHe sounds like he's been watching the Late, Late show with Craig Ferguson. Craig's got a bunny puppet named Sid who swears all the time and would look smart in a hat. Since we never see his feet, there's no reason for him to have spats, either!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course he can travel in time. This is tomorrow's entry! :-)
ReplyDeleteLol... the gibberish reminds of me elementary music class - quarter notes and eighth notes and whole notes... ta ta, tee-tee ta, ta tee-tee-tee-tee ta...
ReplyDeleteIs STM ethnically Filipino?
ReplyDeleteThe little-kid word for "penis" in Tagalog (Filipino) is "titi" (rhymes with "pee-pee") and in Pangasinan (my parents' dialect/language) it's "patutin." He came awfully close.
Magaling po kayo, STM! Good work, sir!
According to Google translate he is speaking in Albanian...
ReplyDeleteWhat I got from it was "Free to be, free to be free, free to be free, not be without"
I hear "Two hats for my pony." Though I'm not sure which is cuter; a bunny with spats or a pony with spats...
ReplyDeletealbanian? you have got to be kidding me!!!! - adam
ReplyDeleteitzy bitzy bout time penalizing and planting seeds of doubt in our conversationalizing with ones own in a foreign language that talks back to STM'z delite'n nooo... nevermind, make that he caught one for slippin'up on a tongue twister in a beginners class of lessoning le blow below the belt, mixology sworn to swearing abitzslanging up and down the channel of gigglee gum drops...pepepepenis on purpose or not, said and caught in jest the time it takes to figure it out; get over it naught; giggles, 'n carry on deciphering the meaning and meaning what one sez and sezzing what one had meant...meanwhile,
ReplyDeleteback of the class, a gigglin' wordathon continues...what phraze is next - is up for interpretation in a singalong strung out to dry humor in a language of love, that's luv to see ya slipup in innocence gone a thunder, silly guessing abouts this one liner, designer style in todaze pas de deux...
a do do do, a da da dah...'um...ing along, sayagain, repeat
Yes, Adam! Albanian. Interesting, no?
ReplyDeleteApparently Google does think it's Albanian. Most curious.
ReplyDeleteWho knew talking in ones sleep could be this much fun.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I'm reminded of the Red Dwarf episode where the crew landed on a parallel Earth where everything ran backwards, and the inhabitants thought the Dwarf crew were speaking Bulgarian.
ReplyDeleteI like the possibility of a Tagalog translation, it includes the penis reference and everything!
ReplyDeleteI love this stuff. Every time I check here my day gets better. Oh yeah the last bit is Albanian as well "free to be you" according to Google.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many other languages STM knows.
ReplyDeleteSTM has an Albanian penis? Who knew?!
ReplyDeleteI'am at a loss about the bunny though! I find myself asking more questions! Such as, what exactly is this business that the bunny must appear to be about? And how, in the Blue Hell do you fit a rabbit for spats?
Wow STM knows Albanian!
ReplyDeleteOK, so we've got STM speaking in tongues......
ReplyDeleteWhat's next? Prophecy? Snake handling? 7@=Q
Doesn't the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland wear spats? (The Disney version)
ReplyDeleteOhhhh! I heard two hats for my PONY too! And spats makes sense, because don't horses legs get bound sometimes? That would look like spats! And we know STM likes his pony...
ReplyDeletelatin?
ReplyDeleteamo
amas
amat
amamus
amatis
amant
I don't even know if that's right.
@I'm not on drugs:
ReplyDeleteVery good. Now try the past imperfect, future, past perfect and pluperfect tenses...... 7@=e
It's the pony... Adam wants a pony XD
ReplyDeleteGerman, French, now Albanian or Tagalog. STM is a multilingual genius!
ReplyDeleteAnd I wonder how many personalities are talking in that quote.
Have you ever heard of "Kipper the dog"? its a preschool children's show... STM's voice sounds rather similar it at times and the pi ta pa... one would fit perfectly hilarious dubbed-over a seen from that cartoon... i think ill have to do it just for my own amusement!
ReplyDeleteWhat can you say about this post STM?
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun! What a great idea. Also I love how authentic you seem to be.
