Karen's notes: This one had been banked in the nest-egg just yesterday. I can't help wondering if this statement is related to the very thing that kept Adam up much of last night: Twinkle, the rat-sized miniature chihuahua for whom we are dog-sitting.
Probably. I mean...a rat dag named Twinkle?
ReplyDeleteThat is T-Shirt worthy!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant!! XD
ReplyDeletecatfood!
ReplyDeleteA MINIATURE chihuahua? What the hell? I'm with STM. I can't stand the normal sized ones. Def want that on a tee
ReplyDeletewhat you waiting for ? go awayyy..i said go away...
ReplyDeleteEvery miniature chihuahua that I have known has been wonderful but like all teacup dogs they are often born with birth defects that make their life hell. It is a sin to breed such tiny dogs.
ReplyDeleteWait a mini chihuahua? Ew. Love the quote, totally T-shirt material.
ReplyDeleteChihuahua rat dogs. My neighbor has three of them!Noisy little rascals, but really smart and lovable after they get to know you and decide not to attack your leg in mass, and try to chew off your foot!
ReplyDeleteThe raccoons didn't know what to make of them at first, but they have a blast together now! They still don't come out around the dogs' owners yet, but the raccoons think I'm just another raccoon, so I get to watch!
I have to say that I am totally ofended by the ignorance and prejudice towards chihuahuas from the comments on STM. There is NEVER any fault with a dog, any insecurities or faults with a dog lie within the owners of a dog. I have 4 beautiful, intelligent WELL-BEHAVED chihuahuas.
ReplyDeleteYou're both right and wrong, Tina. It's the often fault of humans who breed dogs together to meet a standard of looks instead of one of personality. Small dogs are actually often neurotic because their skulls are too small for their brains and it causes pressure on the brain and odd consequent behaviour. There are RSPCA studies about it.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, small dog owners who dress their pets in pyjamas at night and have matching tracksuits for walks (I heard about one of these today) have a LOT to answer for!
And that being said, Chihuahuas' bulgy eyes freak me out a little, so I guess liking them is a little too far out of /my/ comfort zone. :p
Maybe if the chihuahua got some pectoral implants....... 7@=Q
ReplyDeletePlease please please make this a t-shirt!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah I don't like chihuahuas but hey I don't like any dog that shorter than my calf cause I end up not seeing them at some point and kicking/stepping on them, not intentional but it does cause a lot of hassle!!
the second one became my facebook status. That was just pure awesome!
ReplyDeletenot sure why i said the second one. I meant to say that one. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI am way out of my comfort zone on this as well.
