Remember those days when I was posting only one audio clip every few days (what was I thinking?!)? Well, I've been considering that goldmine of never-before-heard wackiness, and all the bizarre, creepy, hilarious things STM has said that are buried in the archives. Thus is born the WEDNESDAY REWIND!
So, in honor of Thanksgiving:
"You can tell that turkey when it comes back here that it's not welcome. You tell it good."
"I can't believe you went to pick up a turkey without introducing yourself first. How rude of you. How presumptuous. A turkey has its own mind. Be kind."
I love the Thanksgiving-themed collection. Maybe your Wednesday rewinds can all be thematic, like STM and boats, STM admiring himself, STM and foul, etc. Happy Turkey Day!
I laughed at the butternut squash one and my 5-year-old asked me what I was laughing about; to my joy I could actually tell her that one. She likes those words too lol.
YAY! Got the "It's Cake o'clock" tshirt for my daughter today in HER favourite colour (orange - yuck lol). She LOVES it!!!
I feel like my blog has become more of a picture blog. It's sad but I don't always have that much to say. Someone asked me the other day what I liked to do. I couldn't hardly think of what I liked to do that didn't involved kids, family or Nate. That's the stage right now and I am loving each of the kids ages and stages. When I'm not with them I feel out of place.
Perhaps it has been discussed before, nevertheless I am curious. Are there gestures that accompany the words?
ReplyDeletesadly, no.
ReplyDeleteKaren- Does he run in his sleep occasionally? We know he's fallen out of the bed.
ReplyDeleteYou know- I don't wanna know. I like the picture I have in my head waaaay better than reality. STEP AWAY FROM THE YAM!!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the Thanksgiving cheer, Adam...I am stepping away from the yam as we speak!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was "yarn" too. In fact I made an LOL cat with the yarn. (No, I don't knit cats)
ReplyDeleteyou are just hilarious!
ReplyDeletehappy thanksgiving to you too!
Aww. I must have missed some of the merchandise for "three steps". I don't see underwear or nighties w/ this quote.
ReplyDeleteWow, I hadn't realized that Adam had enough Thanksgiving material for a greatest hits post. That's just prodigious (didn't feel like saying amazing).

ReplyDeleteThe yam comment sounds like one to save for Uncle Blob...errr, Bob, yeah that's what I meant.
ReplyDeleteSo glad I can't stand yams anyway.
ReplyDeleteSo how is it that I only discovered yesterday that there were STM greeting cards? I'm sad for me...
