Karen's notes: Just before we went to sleep last night, we watched an extreme fishing show* in which they accidentally caught a HUGE snapping turtle. It was a 200-pounder, so I'm not sure about the feasibility of carrying it around in a satchel. Don't worry, the turtle escaped unscathed.
* We watch these TV shows when Adam's son is here, because he is obsessed with fishing. I was amazed to discover that there are, like, at least FIVE such programs.
As for the last one, Adam woke himself up with his final directive. We really hope the kids didn't hear.
amazing! he speaks every night?
ReplyDeletelol look up "hillbilly hand fishin'" there was a show on animal planet the other day and my husband is obsessed with trying it now.
ReplyDeleteThe random ad generator has offered up TurtleShack.com - "Live turtles!" *blinkblink* Ummm... one would hope so!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the fact that STM believes turtles purr when content.
Carrying a snapping turtle around in a satchel would be such a horrible idea... I bet you'd lose a couple fingers (if not all of them) in cracker feeding attempts
ReplyDeleteYou know...there are always fishing shows on and they are the most dull thing ever. Fishing is boring enough but at least you might get some food out of it. Well, people who eat fish get food out of it.
ReplyDeleteDid you guys purposely get turtleshack.com to advertise on this day's post, or am I just lucky?!
ReplyDeleteCrackers? With a snapper that size, a couple of live chickens would be more appropriate..... 7@=Q
ReplyDeleteI used to have a pet box turtle named Sammy. He'd wander the backyard eating snails and the veggies we'd leave out for him. Then one day he hibernated and never came out of it.
ReplyDeleteI miss that turtle.
watching a fishing show?! Is that where STM shops for material?
