And look what I found on the recording! It's me! I'm a slow starter, but perhaps I can one day aspire to be one-tenth as great as STM. You are all welcome to take a shot at discerning what I'm talking about, because I, for one, have no clue:

No offense, Karen, but in the recording you talk in.... You sound like a baby haha
ReplyDeleteNow, I'm thinking I should be a Goddess when I'm older, it sounds good. (I'm a teen.)
And, after another listen, it sounds like you say 'rituals' at the start.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I heard 'I'm going to Wales' ........although Wales could be 'Rituals'
ReplyDeleteHmm... I'm hearing something about a truce and then "I understand"
ReplyDelete"Left two hoses at Afton"?
ReplyDelete"Lifting homes ... after"?
I heard something something "truce. We hafta..."
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's French?
ReplyDelete"Les trousses ... Oui ... On va tendre...'
;)
I thought I might have said something about Waitrose, which is a grocery store chain?
ReplyDelete..yeh,i thought i heard "the waitress"...
ReplyDeleteI also thought it said something about Waitrose.
ReplyDeleteAre you perhaps running a shopping list in your head?
I thought it was "wiggle toes... to... amsterdam"
ReplyDeleteI heard "i'm going to whitrose, you understand?
ReplyDeletemaybe explaining to someone your day
my toes, hmm I don't understand ?
ReplyDeleteIt's "Wiggle tooth..You...hafta"
ReplyDeleteClarification: "Hafta" = "Have to" in American English. Perhaps she knows a six year old?
ReplyDeletethere is a movie called "Invictus" it's about when Mandela took over South Africa as President, and their soccer team.
ReplyDeleteWhat I heard was "Invictus..... that's was good."
did ya'll recently watch that movie?
I heard something about "White rose."
ReplyDeleteAlso, I bet no matter what profession STM chooses people will want to hit him, hehe.
the last word sounds German-ish. Likely a form from that region of Europe. Hey, STM has spoken German before without knowing the language. From I can hear:
ReplyDelete"With that truth (truce?)...hmm.... amshten -the last word being a phonetic spelling of course.
"I hafta go... have-tah"
ReplyDeleteSTW in the making? A Sleep Talking Couple, now would be pretty awesome. You could sell matching his and hers pyjamas at the store.
ReplyDeleteJust remember, the day you somnolaliac personalities start having hilarious conversations in your sleep, I called it.
yeah, I heard "truce" and "understand".
ReplyDeletewaitrose, march 10th.
ReplyDelete"a white rose, a hamster" is what I heard
ReplyDeleteI also heard "a white rose, a hamster".
ReplyDeleteIn my ears you are saying "Bee back to Rose: ...Hamster."
ReplyDeleteYou are clearly speaking in some code language. Hamster is something like a 'red alert', or 'situation [some number]'.
Or the other option is that you are just saying what you see, but in simple non-sentences. 'Bee is flying back to the rose. Now, I see a hamster.'
"A licked moose, I'll be damned."
ReplyDeleteI reckon its:
ReplyDeleteI love cheerios (or- churros), hmm, you don't understand
I love tunas---I do
ReplyDelete"The white roast - is - underdone"? 7@=Q
ReplyDeletewith that truth... understand?
ReplyDelete'I'm going to Waitrose, you understand.'
ReplyDeleteI heard "I like toast" Then some random mumbling O.o
ReplyDeleteEdit to above.
ReplyDelete"I like toast....... with.. pashta.."
"I'm going to Waitrose after dinner." Had you gone or did you later go after dinner?
ReplyDelete...alien language, haunting us...ALL!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I heard: "I need to go ... (pause) ..." The last could have been 'I understand' or 'Amsterdam' or something like that, but it's so mumbled I can't make out the words.
ReplyDeleteI heard "I have a truce. I'm stunned"
ReplyDelete"I've got turtles...you understand."
ReplyDelete"The whole truth! I understand."
ReplyDeletewow. i heard "give it to bruce...??"
ReplyDelete"the witch rose, you understand?"
ReplyDeleteI heard
ReplyDelete"I'm going to roast... hamster..."
Hmmm. Isn't there a saying "Lord,love a duck"?
ReplyDeleteIs is said as an alternative to "Golly, gee whiz" I think.
i keep hearing something about a truce....
ReplyDeleteI'm going Tolouse, do you understand?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to lose, do you understand?
Tolouse as in Henry Tolouse-Lautrec?
i hear a loose tooth ..don't steal it
ReplyDelete"We went to Toloose with Dan"
ReplyDeleteAt least thats what I hear. :)
it is loose... dont stop it
ReplyDelete"I like toast; you understand?"
ReplyDeleteVery hard to hear...
"I'm with the squirrels. Hm. I understand."
ReplyDeleteor
"I'm going to Wales. Hm. I understand."
I heard it as "No truce - I punched him" which would sort of fit in with all the postman ramblings I guess...
ReplyDeleteI know this is really old but I just found this site today and I am evidently the only one that thinks you're saying "Eww, that's gross!" and not sure what the rest is
ReplyDeleteGive this some consideration, because I hear this very clearly...
ReplyDelete"It's the truth. You - punched in."
Love,
CarolAnn
