As someone who loves Disco Music I adore the 2nd one! (Come on, folks, who would you rather listen to? Donna Summer or Rebecca Black?) STM is now the Disco Prophet!
@HHJulie - Hm - I have a disco ball in my room. I wonder if it's from your hometown.
I had something to add to the "disco ain't dead" discussion. I work in a public library and part of my job is to make displays for each month. We have a book on disco dancing from the 1970s that's still in excellent shape. For January I put it up as part of the New Year's Resolutions display as dancing is a form of excercise. (Along with swing dancing, country line dancing, etc.) It was the first book in the display to check out. Even before the dating books. (Which were the most popular after that. Then diet books.)
*Somewhere, in a dark vault beneath the Rollerama, a yellowed polystyrene coffin, studded with dusty rhinestones, lies waiting. From within its polyester velour-lined interior, a muffled, rhythmic thumping is heard, like a distant drum machine.......Soon, soon the time will come: Disco will walk the night again......... 7@=G
I love that second one. :D
ReplyDeleteI agree fully with the second one. Disco ain't dead. It's just dormant. One day it will rise again!
ReplyDeleteGo, disco! :D Disco is classic. Dance have nothing on true disco.
ReplyDeleteT-shirt for that one? With a funky illustration perhaps? *thinking Saturday Night Fever* ;)

ReplyDeleteThe second one definitely deserves a shirt!
ReplyDeleteI love that second one. Long live disco!
ReplyDelete90% of the world's disco balls are made in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
ReplyDelete...just so you know.

So STM is right - disco is alive and well!
(photoshop a picture of Adam into a white leisure suit for me...pleeeeze...??)
ReplyDelete@Jamisings, I'd agree that Donna Summer's I Feel Love is one of the best songs ever.
ReplyDeleteLove the second quote. Seems t-shirt or card worthy to me!
I'm still waiting for the Onesie quote to be available in the US shop. I MUST get one for my grandson!
