Karen's notes: Well, it was one of those quiet nights, so these are from the nest-egg.
I'm heading off to Boston for a few days, so the blog will be posted during US mornings, rather than UK mornings. Incidentally, on Friday and Saturday nights, I'll be going to see the new play by Liars and Believers, so if anyone wants to come along, please find me and say hello!
i didn't think tortoises had vocal chords or a way to purr...but sure :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Boston, it should be a party there for a few days! As a British Columbian, please let me say that 99.99% of us are not those a-holes that were rioting in the streets of Vancouver last night. So embarrassing... really sad.
ReplyDeleteBoston will be awesome, have a great time!!!
Its sad when you vote for a team only because it will cause the least amount of damage to your city. Maybe we need more STM judges to put the fear of God in them.
ReplyDeleteBased on the Bible, God is the most unpleasant character ever seen in fictional literature. God puts you in a lake of fire for eternity! And STM still manages to top that?! I have no idea how he'll do that, but now I sure know not to make STM angry.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Boston - I'll be there this weekend for a Sox game - GO BRUINS!
ReplyDeleteAndreas B. - he said "A GOD" not "GOD". There is a difference.
ReplyDeleteYes Anon, it means STM only has slight megalomania ;P
ReplyDeleteAndreas - God is real, not fictional. You need to learn more about religion before bashing it. Only in certain religions do they believe in Hell. Some religions they don't.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is another paraphrase from Better Off Ted: "He's like a god, only it hurts more when he judges us."
ReplyDeleteI think he's interacting with a vibrating phone. I can hear it in the background. :)
ReplyDelete^ In the last one, I mean.
