What could he be watching? And, what would make good watching food? Any ideas?
Popcorn
ReplyDeleteWatching food would be something that doesn't make noise when you eat it as you don't want to scare off what you're watching!
ReplyDeleteDefinately popcorn. 8 out of 10 movie-goers agree.
ReplyDeleteBut if we're talking trainwatching, he needs pickle and cheese sandwiches on white, and a thermos of tea.
anything messy.... nachos and cheese.... chips and salsa.... mmmmmmm watching food.
ReplyDeleteanything being deep fried is entertaining to watch.
ReplyDeleteAnd how does STM know my mother?
deep fried mars bar! or deep fried snickers bar! followed by a crunchy, slightly sweet apple (gotta have your five a day!)
ReplyDeletemmh a fried Mars Bar sounds heavenly. I need to order some Mars Bars
ReplyDeleteEither something really quiet, so you don't let whatever you're watching know you're watching it, or something really noisy so that you make it very plain to the thing you're watching that you're watching it.
ReplyDeleteThe first one made me go, "Oh, BURN!" XD
ReplyDeleteboy, headin' out to this lighthouse job for the first time isn't gonna be a piece of cake...
ReplyDeletegimme wings to fly, i'm gonna need some TLC comfort food on this stretch...

Obviously something I baked. My sundried tomato & herbs bread, or my sourdough garlic cheese. Or my triple-chip chocolate cookies - I use white chocolate, semi-sweet, and dark chocolate chips. Or my chocolate chip peanut butter cookies. There's also my oatmeal crasins. (Dried cranberries.) I also sometimes make oatmeal cookies with dried blue berries. I also make awesome cupcakes and muffins.
ReplyDeleteall of the above! yum...COOK*OUT PARTY*BAKE!
ReplyDeleteWhat? My husband believes that you cannot watch football without a ton of food at hand. Is that not normal?
ReplyDeleteThe annoying comment would make a great valentines card :)
ReplyDeleteDid anyone else interpret it as "food that I am going to watch" rather than "food to eat while watching something"?
ReplyDeleteBecause I found it hilarious to imagine STM just sitting there and staring intently at a burrito or a slice of cake...
So, I'm guessing that Adam needs munchies when he watches the X factor? (Sorry Adam, but I had to go there)
ReplyDeletecarrots. good for the eyesight, and will likely remind STM to cast maledictions upon vegetarians. good times!
ReplyDeleteOr is the food itself to do the watching? Hmmm, food for thought! Or watching. Whichever! ;)
ReplyDeleteI recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting.
ReplyDeleteWell, anything boiled is pretty much out (you know what they say about watched pots)...... 7@=Q
ReplyDeleteWell Hello! Popcorn of course! You can watch it pop---that's what STM means...:)
