"Bouncing round the toadstool. It's a gnome jump-off for those little buggers in their red hats."

"Lion!"
__________

Karen's notes: "Lion" was shouted upon waking, in response to me caressing Adam's shoulder lovingly. I must admit, though, I was doing it on purpose, knowing he would yell out the name of some creature or another.

Merch update: For those of you in the UK, I have finally gotten the UK shirt shop caught up on products. Sorry 'bout the lag

  2. I must say, the lack of insulting comments from last night disappointed me! Still great, nonetheless.

  3. yeah, the last two nights have all been cute weird things.

  4. Much as I enjoy the sleeptalkin' talks, I can't help but nitpick... isn't he saying "It's a known jump-off" rather than a "gnome jump-off?"

  5. LOVE how you goad him into yelling out before he wakes up. Karen, YOU are MY hero!

  6. I didn't know "knowns" wore red hats. It's fairly obvious he was talking about garden gnomes that people sprinkle in their yards.. You know those little bugger with their red pointy hats...

  7. My 6 year old daughter talks in her sleep and last night she yelled out "RHOMBUS!" Just as clear as it can be. Scared me to death since she decided she wanted to sleep with me last night. LOL.

  8. Now I feel like an idiot. I just assumed he was talking about Super Mario Bros. Is that bad? Probably not.

  9. @Skyler - don't feel like an idiot, that is actually a neat analysis :-)

@Cassondra - I can see where that would scare the heck out of you, though I think it's neat a 6-year-old knows the word "Rhombus" lol.

    This is cute!

  12. what's a rhombus?

  13. I don't know if you really wanted to know or not but a rhombus is and diamond shape with equilateral sides. And when she said it, it came out like "RHOOOOMBUSSS!"

  15. Karen,

Can we possibly have uncensored shirts? I really want the 'good day' shirt, but I can't in good conscience where a shirt that's censored. :)

  16. Skyler, that was my husband's response too. When I read this aloud to him, he said: "Mario! Can't *trust* those buggers in their red hats."

  17. I love the cute weird ones, but the funniest thing for me today was:

"I must admit, though, I was doing it on purpose, knowing he would yell out the name of some creature or another." :) :)

  18. Has Adam by any chance been watching or reading David the Gnome? I think the opening credits of the cartoon include gnomes bouncing on toadstools.

This. Pretty please? Maybe an uncensored "good day" coffee mug to go with my uncensored "good day" shirt? People who know me would have heart attacks and aneurysms if I censored anything. It would single-handedly cause a widespread health epidemic in the southern US. We can't have that, can we?! :D
