Karen's notes: No sleep talking last night because... no sleep! Poor Adam. His son is sick this weekend, so he slept with Adam in case he had a tough night, and I slept with my step-daughter. Not only was the recorder filled with hours of raucous snoring, but it turns out that his son is a duvet ninja! He can swipe that cover away faster than a hummingbird's wings. And, on top of being bombarded with the adenoidal cacophony, and being fully exposed to the cold night air, Adam also got punched in the back a few times.
Thank god his daughter sleeps like the dead. we'll stick them back together tonight. How else will the rest of us stay entertained?

Snugs72 - not to worry, they've just spent the last week of him being sick together at their mother's. If she is going to get whatever it is, it's too late to stop it now.
ReplyDeleteAs for an extra blanket, he DID. His son woke up at one point in the middle of the night and asked to have the blanket instead of the duvet. Adam swapped with him, and he fell back to sleep. Within 10 minutes, he had swiped the duvet again, so that he had BOTH. -Karen
Aww poor kid hope he's better soon and you 2 don't get it! We've got something icky going around here too... my little guy talks in his sleep occasionally and talks more when he's unsettled. My husband told me he heard "I've got 2 balls, isn't that nice?" the other night in between coughing. Love the nightly games of "musical beds" when you have sick little people!

I am glad for the little guy's sake there was no explicit sleep talking man comments. I don't know how you could possibly explain to a little person half the horrible things sleep talking man says!

ReplyDeletei am overjoyed that my subconcious was more than aware as to the company i was keeping in bed last night. he is feeling much better after geting a good nights rest. i, on the other habd, hardly slept a wink with all his snatching of duvet, throwing himself around as if he was in some WWF contest and snoring. oh karen, i know how you feel. i am SOOOOO sorry. - adam
