(I know that, like me, you're all singing to yourselves about Major Tom now).

Yes, tonight Adam and I head off into the rainforest of Ecuador to volunteer at a primate sanctuary for two weeks. But do not fear, fair reader! I have pre-scheduled posts for every day with gems from the nest-egg. And we will have occasional internet access, so we'll be keeping up with comments.

Hopefully, I'll come home with loads of monkey-inspired quotes to delight and disgust!

    @Julia - We couldn't find any direct flights. Or perhaps there were ones that were so astronomically expensive, we ignored them. We're going through Madrid on Iberia.

    here's a joke/fact for STM to munch over sometime. though I know it will probably have nothing much in the way of gorillas at the sanctuary your going to.
    how come gorillas have such big nostrils? because their thumbs are so big!

    How can I not hum that?! Seriously, how can I not? I think it was the fact I saw "Weasel" First, and got in my head an old cartoon I used to watch from the late 90's in my head, but I love Space Oddity. And Bowie. ...Right.
