I'm so sorry I've missed a week of posting, folks. I've been in the States away from Adam, suffering from ongoing jetlag, a bad cold, and constant over-eating. But I'm back in the saddle, and looking forward to going through all of the audio that's been accumulating on the recorder while I've been away!

If Adam has ever seen "The Bucket List" (and, if he hasn't, he should; it's a great film), it might have been where STM picked up on it, although I'm pretty sure the film states that cat-like predators eat the beans, rather than monkeys.
I visited Brazil earlier this year, and there is a special coffee there which has cycled through a bird's digestive system. Something about the digestive enzymes enhancing the beans. The coffee was very expensive and I did not buy any, but I will admit to regretting not buying a cup to try (one coffee bar offered it to drink by the cup). Heck, it's been roasted and brewed, so it's clean, right? *shivers*
I tried a Kopi Luwak coffee bean earlier in the year and loved it. We were in a specialist coffee and tea shop in North Berwick at the time and the owner kindly offered me one to try. I knew I would probably never get the chance again so went for it and am glad I did. Sadly I could not afford to buy a 100g pack but I would have purchased if I could. Yes, it is truly very tasty and not just drunk for snob value due to the cost.
Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
