Here's where the various flavors of English create ambiguity: in Australian English, thong usually refers to the type of footwear that American English calls a flip-flop. In either case, it would be extraordinary to see elephants in thongs.
ROFLMAO - ELEPHANTS IN THONGS! (Skimpy Panties) Never read STM from work - Lessen learned... Oh man my sides are killing me trying to laugh without makin a noise.
I just discovered your blog, and it is one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen. I look forward to seeing what Adam says next. I have a bit of a request, would love to hear more of the reveals. I think it's equally as funny to hear Adam's reaction to his own subconscious imagination.
Hee hee hee! Adam must've been subconsciously preparing for the honeymoon! lol I'm not sure whether to be excited or frightened by the prospect of seeing the honeymoon photos... I hope he doesn’t sleep walk as well and try to dress one of the elephants according to his dreams! Brilliant as always! Sherri - Canada
Heinrich Kley, thou shouldst be living at this hour....... *

Now that's a bit of a stumper, buutt, if you can decipher what she has laughed about with and posted it here that's not too off this beaten path, and she sees it in 'lights' even tho it would have no relevance to the days topic we understand, and you signed it in familiarity to her...that may give her a bit of a chuckle, a laugh, well...we'll see?
(besides... AandK are on their honeymooning retreat and may be forg?v?ng) if it helps to bounce your laughter echoing to your daughter how silly nonsense can make a lotta sense, like'a inside joke just to get a smile anyways...maybe? it'll be something she may come back to s@@ when she's ready...
Funny, I would have thought you'd never want to see elephants in thongs. My mistake!

ReplyDeleteNo, I could enver enjoy seeing a elephant in a thong... (British thong)
ReplyDeleteYeah, but here in New Zealand, the thong is the skimpy underwear, the footwear is commonly known as a 'jandal'. Neither image is encouraging. :)
ReplyDeleteWhether footwear or underwear, I'd pay to see and elephant in a thong!
ReplyDeletei now have a mental image that will haunt my day.
ReplyDeleteLOL!! I think thats the best one yet!!
ReplyDeleteLol. I love this one!!
ReplyDeleteWatch the Jeremy Kyle show and one will see many Elephants in thongs.

Nothing wrong with elepants in thongs. "Nellie the elephant packed her trunk and thaid goodbye to the thircuth" What's wrong with that?
ReplyDeleteHe said it again? Must like the idea, or he's dreaming about telling stories of things he's said in his sleep. Sleeptalking about sleeptalking... :P

ReplyDeleteSmashing! Whether the underwear or sandals. And the US refers to both as thongs. The underwear is also sometimes referred to as "Butt Floss".

Enjoy it? You know I will!
ReplyDeleteWhat a giggle - yes, thong here in the US means both (though flip-flops is more common for the sandal.)
ReplyDeleteSo I'm seeing an elephant in skimpy underwear (or is it bathing suit?) wearing flip-flops (though it has no toes).
It's definitely on the beach. :) So mine must be in a bathing suit. And sunglasses.
