Karen's notes: I was up with insomnia for HOURS last night and, would you believe, STM didn't come out to keep my company at all! I had to pull these from the nest-egg.
"My shrink is a frog" is actually from yesterday. Isn't that a weird one? I do love the Austin Powers delivery of the last line, though.
Wow, everyone went CRAZY for yesterday's post. But I knew it. I knew from the moment "monogabee" reached my ears that we were onto something big. Some of you requested shirts, so I got them into the shops as fast as I could. Don't forget to enter the coupon code!
ps- I am definitely creating a greeting card for "viable embryo".
I love Google ads. Today, I'm seeing adverts for fertility clinics. -Karen
ReplyDeleteHWL!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're already getting a clear winner on your poll ;)
Actually, it's disturbingly close. Can't you people agree on anything!?! -Karen
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Now there's an ad for Child Behavior Videos that says, "Kids behaving badly?" That is darkly appropriate to the first quote. -Karen
ReplyDeleteI have Stem Cell treatment ads!
ReplyDeleteLove the first one today, there are a few people I can think of that this quote would apply to!
Hope you get some sleep tonight Karen!

O_o When I voted, it was much further apart (the poll) the winner was way ahead. Now the longer two versions are catching up, but I still think the third one is best.
ReplyDeleteWay to bring my genetics class hurtling back at me, STM! I've looked at the words "viable embryo", "fetus", and "stem cell" way too often this past year...glad it's all coming back to haunt me not only through STM ramblings, but through Gooogle ads as well! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I literally spewed forth my coffee upon reading the "viable embryo" quote. Too freakin' funny!!! LOL!
ReplyDeletehey karen!
ReplyDeletenot sure if you read my last comment: if you could add the speech bubble version of "direct line to god" to the UK shop, that would be great!
ROFL Has STM been attending my developmental biology class? We're working with frog embryos at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI wonder whether Adam (or STM) is having amphibian feelings towards his therapist? 7@=Q
ReplyDeleteSTM's shrink is a frog? That explains a great deal! Or does it?
ReplyDeletehey markus, i will speak to karen about this. - adam
ReplyDeletestill no "direct line" shirt in the UK shop. :(
ReplyDeleteYou were classed as a viable embryo. Love it!
