Karen's notes: It turns out that Banana Man was an English cartoon superhero during Adam's impressionable years. Here he is:

Check out those awesome boots!

As for the little people, Adam's kids are with us for 10 days now, and we had their two cousins here yesterday as well. The flat certainly LOOKS like it was taken over by some sort of gang.

  1. Bananaman was brilliant. I remember it very well. He lived on Acacia Avenue.

    I loved Dangermouse too.

  3. The middle qoute sounds a lot like a chapter from through the looking glass (the sequel for Alice In Wonderland)- Alice is introduced to her dinner and then she can't eat it, because it isn't polite to eat someone you were introduced to.

  21. When he says the one about "I can't believe you went to pick up a turkey..." it reminds me of the same tone of annoyance and disbelief of "don't put the duck there! Put him on the swing. He'll have MUCH more fun over there." or something. That was my favorite!
