From the holiday:
"It's not woolly. It's NOT woolly! It's doesn't go baahhh. No. It goes wooh wooh wooh wooh! So it's not woolly. Woolly goes bahhhh. Woollyyyyyyyyyy!

Those brown monkeys in the pictures for the past couple of days, the English name of that species is Woolly Monkeys. They are the most social of the five species at the sanctuary, and often seek affection from humans. It seems STM believes the name was an inappropriate choice. Here are some more pics of woolly monkeys:

"This knife is shit. I need a machete. Yeah, big fuck-off machete. Go chopping. Come on, chopping!"

Adam did indeed take a big fuck-off machete into the jungle to chop down some bamboo for a new enclosure we were building.

Although this one is from last night, I just have to include it today, as it is time-sensitive. You see, Arsenal played— and beat— Barcelona last evening:
"Back of the net! Have some of that, you Spanish fucking cunts."

  5. It looks to me that the monkeys on the right were looking for a little more than affection! -They were looking for a Ménage à Qua(tre)!

  6. All of my family in England have been going on about Arsenal... I had to Google the team to be certain it was about soccer/football. ^_^

  7. @Bluetooth... I don't now how old your children are but would caution you about using this site for educational purposes. It's a little PG-13 around here.
On the other hand, I could just shut up, walk away and giggle... but the Mom instinct is a little too strong.

  8. I agree with Marisa...not for kids! But, if Bluetooth read today's with the soccer match and the machete (no, not together! Though we Americans do hear how violent those "football" matches can be!), he/she must be aware the language isn't kid friendly!
Of course, he/she might be sarcastic...I am not sure what "valuable information" the kids would get anyway! I think that might be it...

  9. Everyone - I actually think that Bluetooth's message is spam, and they just post that same text on lots of blogs, hoping for a click-through. It has that sound. -Karen

  13. Now, now...... I'm sure it's quite educational for a spammer's children: they can compare their parent to a seeping anal gash...... 7@=Q

  16. Karen & Adam: why don't you just delete the spammy comments? They really don't contribute to the discussion anyway.

  17. I second that motion on the spammers. I come here to read STM's midnight ramblings, not sift through spammer "crapola". Next thing you know, there will be an entire community of spammers interfering with all the "education" material we learn about on here.

  18. I find the bluetooth spam funny, as it seems like a perfectly good comment except for the fact that STM has no valuable real world information on it. So while most spam should be deleted, I vote bluetooth stays so we can laugh at its stupidity.
