We're so excited about our first TV appearance on This Morning tomorrow. We hope they give us a recording so that I can share it with my friends and family in the States!

Good luck with This Morning tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I am at work but I'm hoping that I'll be able to view it on the ITV IPlayer when I get home tomorrow evening!
I'd say sweet dreams but they are likely to be bizarre for Adam! LOL!
Helen.
Yay, you. Be sure to post the audio here so we in the states can hear your lovely Adam's nightly rantings. And maybe on YouTube, too. Good luck with your TV appearance.
ReplyDeleteWow TV? That's great!
ReplyDeleteAnd with us, I hope!
ReplyDeleteAm really looking forward to seeing it! Will be recording it for my husband too as we both love this blog! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHa-haaa! From one wacky dreamer to another - your site made my day. Thanks. I wrote about you on my blog this morning to share the laughs.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on This Morning, and don't let them give you any flak.
ReplyDeleteI've done loads of TV, radio and press interviews myself - for different reasons, of course - but there's one thing I have learned about doing these interviews.
/You're/ the ones who are ahead of the curve. /They/ are the ones desperate to catch up. That gives you the advantage in any interview.
So break a leg and enjoy yourselves tomorrow!
I wish we had access to that TV program - would love to see it! Best wishes from us to you and yours!!! Keep up the fabulous work with you blog - thank you for the laughs - they are much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Australia... so hopefully one of our breakfast shows will pick up the story and show it here (they sometimes do that). If it happens I'll let you know. Oh and did anyone tell you that Adam looks like "Big" from $ex in the City??? This is the first time I've left you a message too so I must say how much I love your blog. I've made it my homepage at work. Can't imagine a better way to start each day!! (I had to make it $ex so the comment would be accepted)
ReplyDeleteBreak a leg tomorrow! and I LOVE my t-shirt - just arrived this weekend!
ReplyDeleteCarol from Australia here. Just saw an "awake" picture of Adam online. I take it back... he doesn't look a thing like "Big" from $ex in the City when he's awake.
ReplyDeleteHey, I work for Channel 9 in Australia, I'm forwarding the link to them, so they can do a story on it, it's a great blog! Glad to see someone being original. Good luck for your show!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear him it'll be all over youtube no doubt! Good Luck guys! We'll be supporting you in Wales UK!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the link of the radio interview on BBC London. A friend sent me your blog link about 2 weeks ago and it's become a sensation amongst my friends and our respective wives and husbands. Great stuff. Keep 'em coming! Best regards, Tom from Connecticut.
ReplyDeletegood luck with the show)))...hope it will be on youtube soon))), love to read your blog, so funny.
ReplyDeleteJenya, Russia
Hi guys.
ReplyDeleteI am in OZ too, though from the UK. I hope channel 9 does pick it up.
If not, maybe STM could place the footage on the blog? Would be really cool.
Thank you.
My ex-boyfriend used to sleep talk, although not as much as your husband. My favourite was:
ReplyDelete"There's a nurse. There's 3 pegs left. Who could it be? We're about to find out."
Gold.
Fist post on here :)
ReplyDeletegood luck on the tube.
Adam's a legend!

Great reading the blog. I was pointed in the direction of your blog as I talk in my sleep all the time and have been told I utter the most random things too, great to see there are a few of us out there - and I live near Richmond too so must be something in the water!! :)
ReplyDeleteBest of everything and anything you desire! You have hat it takes to keep us all interested! Break a leg dear. :>)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the TV! You're becoming quite a phenomenon!

Just watching This Morning as well, really excited! I'm glad this has taken off as well as it has! The power of the Internet! Thanks for keeping us so entertained!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Just watching you on This Morning! I had tears in my eyes when they played the recordings! It's just soooo funny!
ReplyDeleteWatching you on This Morning now! What an amazing interview! I'd never heard of this blog before, but I love it. Really funny stuff Adam comes out with - gave me a much needed cheering up! :D
ReplyDeleteSo I got linked to this blog the other day and thought it was absolutely awesome. My brother, sister and I all sleep talk (and my dad when drunk). They're watching you on this morning at the moment and I recognised who they were talking about because I read the blog and just had to come and watch!
ReplyDeleteJust watched you both on This Morning. What a lovely, funny story and what a fabulous couple. Karen, what an amazingly patient wife you are! Wishing you lots of years of happiness together. Keep posting!
ReplyDeletehey, thought u guys where great on this morning, i read about you in the sun this morning and was excied to see you on t.v.
ReplyDeleteIv just read through your blog and me n my friend where in stitches, think its hillarious!!
the people who say its just a stunt are boring people who believe that nothing funny ever hapens and live a very sheltered and boring life!!
keep on talking to give us some laughs, my boyfriend talks in his sleep but generally just thinks hes playing football and kicks me, iv got the bruises to prove it!!lol!
by the way i do belive that the duck would have fun on the swing!!

ReplyDeleteKayleigh Gogerly
Just seen you on This Morning - which is how I found this blog.
ReplyDeleteSo funny.
I have had periods when I have slept talked, walked and also times when I continually turn the light on during the course of the night.
Like you, my husband finds my chatting at night very funny but its not as frequent as Adams. Don't think I have done so for some time now.
All the best and happy night time chatting! ;-)
Bess.
Where can I see the footage from This Morning?? Please post as soon as you know! And please continue the blog, it's amazingly funny!
ReplyDelete-Your biggest Spanish fan
i've just watched This Morning and literally cried with laughter! It's just soooo funny that Adam is such a normal polite bloke but his alter-ego is so different! My husband tells me of all the things i say and do in my sleep (i've ran into our wardrobe and nearly broke my toe before, just over dreaming about a spider!! I've also strangled him cos i thought i was picking up my toddler!!) I'm gonna get one of those voice activated recorders now! Keep up the great work! Lucy x
ReplyDeleteI have just seen you on TV and then looked at the blog. The tears are rolling down my cheeks! Brilliant! I'm recovering from knee surgery and this has cheered me up no end! Keep on sleeptalking! x
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I caught you on This Morning. I came straight to your blog after and found it hilarious. You have completely lightened up my day! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant brilliant blog.. I Just saw your bit on This Morning - to me it sounds like 'Hypnopompic speech' if its happening in the between state of sleep and waking.
ReplyDeleteWatched you on This Morning, not a programme i ever watch, but so glad to put faces tothe words. love you both you are so sweet and brighten my every day. And to those who think you are a fraud, it doesn't matter either way, you guys are funny and cheer me up. That's what matters to me, but I know you are for real!
ReplyDeleteI too saw you on This Morning and came straight to your blog. I think Adam is a comedy genius, in sleep and awake....well more so in his sleep, sorry Adam but maybe it's just frowned upon in the real world to shout 'cock hunter' and it be ok. It called my boyfriend up and read some of your sleep rants to him. He is on his way to an important interview and think I've corrupted his thoughts with talk of noodles beating up dumplings! oops. He talks in his sleep too but just rambles I can't make out..although he did doze off to sleep once sighing 'jumper, jumper'. I loled. Adam you are a hilarious and I love how you use Americanisms to include your wife. You both are awesome. I salute you.
ReplyDeleteI want to see a video of him saying this shit before I believe it's sleep talking.
ReplyDeleteGranted they're funny quotes but anyone could just make them up.
Thanks a million for cheering up my day! And that your husband too for letting you share it. I had a former boyfriend who also said a lot of fun stuff. Only problem is going back to sleep after trying to laugh silently in the middle of the night. I feel for you :-)
ReplyDeleteHello. I would just like to say, how absolutly funny and charming you both are. I saw you both on This Morning and giggled for about 30 mins after. Absolutly made my day... keep slep talking!

ReplyDeleteHa ha, funny, just read them all, wot a comedian, is he as funny awake??? i remember my sister when we used to share a room when we were little suddenly shout out " You Cant Catch Me Im A Crocadile!",not quite as entertaining!!lol

ReplyDeleteThat's the link I hope you were looking for.
Karen and Adam, your blog is the best thing I've stumbled upon in the Internet. I check it every day for new entries, and I'm passing it along with my friends. After reading all the questioning about the quotes being genuine or not, let me tell you that if they are genuine they are awesome, and if they're not, they're still awesome! I don't really care, like someone else said, you both are making a great service for the cause of hilarity. Thank you for making me smile and laugh. Best regards from Mexico City.
ReplyDeleteTo all of you who have left a comment... thank you so much. To the supporters, your beautiful words and kindess really does fill karen and I with happiness. We found the comments we got from friends and family when we launched this fun, but your comments have an amazing impact on us.
ReplyDeleteTo think this has gone global is mind blowing and all the attention we are getting is rocking our world. I have to admit sharing this with everyone has brought Karen and I even closer than ever and I hope this keeps going, night after night.
Thank you once again and sleep well.
Love
Adam (SLEEP TALKIN MAN)
p.s. this was my first ever comment!!! I know have a voice and boy am I going to use it!
I have found the footage on YouTube. You can get it here:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mAAOaoswXw
Hope that helps everyone out. Thank you for all the laughs!
I watched your appearance on This Morning the other day.
ReplyDeleteI want to say this is the most cynical attempt to grab dubious fame and sell some merchandise I have EVER seen. Your "performance" is far from convincing, and your pronouncements are little more than regurgitated Monty Python and Blackadder quotes.
Please stop lying and get a real job.
Oh and Im sure Im not the only one who thinks this way. Please stop removing the bad posts from your site, or go rent a real site for your t-shirt selling business.
Thank You
Dear Damien McCandless,
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't like Karen and Adam's appearance on the show, what on earth are you doing here on the website? If you don't like what you read here, why don't you just leave? Go away, and let the rest of us enjoy this. Go soil someone else's sandbox, you're not welcome to play here!!
Bye, bye!
L. W. from S.A.
I sleep talk a lot & my ex girlfriend used to write down what I said. The two best ones were "Wait! I have to cum in alphabetical order."
ReplyDeleteand "I am the ancient bride of long ago tradition".
I love your blog, keep it up. :-)
This is funny. I was told I talk in my sleep and I call out different kinds of foods. Even odd combinations...This was hilarious! I feel better I am not alone, but it is quite funny for us all! Best to you and your hubby.
