"Goddammit! Where's my bazooka? I put it on the ground, expecting it to be there when I come back. Have you been tidying up again, 'cause, I really would like my bazooka back. I don't know where you put things. Jesus! Cannot just leave anything alone, can you?"

He is right to be angry... No one tidys up anything of mine. Especially my bazookas. We must have control of our defenses.
ReplyDeleteWho said anything about defenses? I just want my bazooka...
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so like mt 19 year old son. He hates it when I tidy.
ReplyDeleteThis one reminds me of an incident I had with my husband a couple of years ago...
ReplyDeleteUsually, when he does the laundry, the clean clothes get left in the dryer, on the dryer, or in the basket in front of the dryer. One night, I stayed up late doing laundry, which involved not only washing and drying the clothes, but also hanging them up in our closet.
Around 4:30 in the morning, my husband woke me up, demanding that I tell him what I did with the clean clothes.
It didn't even occur to him to look in the closet.
I swear that my Dad has this exact same rant with my Mum 6 days a week. Although usually with things like slippers and books, not bazookas. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's like a line out of some military themed sitcom. Like maybe a modern day F-Troop.
ReplyDeleteYeah, don't clean up after yourself in war. Stuff gets misplaced and that might get you killed. That's why war is messy, no one tidies up the bazookas.
ReplyDeleteThis just cracks me up! It made me smile so much!
ReplyDeleteI think this is relevant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9RQZtg9Kk8
ReplyDeleteIf we ever get around to posting comments on tees, I nominate, "That's why war is messy. No one tidies up the bazookas." Nice job, Andreas.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I really HATE when that happens! Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteI know at least one person who would love this quote on a T-shirt..... 7@=e
ReplyDeleteI bet this is THE most common complaint on the planet from a man to a woman, be it husband to wife or son to mom. It's across ages, cultures and social status. It probably traces back to our hunter fathers and gatherer mothers. :)
