If you've never seen Apocalypse Now, that one's probably lost on you. And for those not in the Jewish know, challah is a scrumptious super-eggy braided bread.

About this one, there's nothing I can say. Neither Adam nor I have any explanation that will give it more sense.

      yea, I pictured STM at the service counter of a hardware store asking for supplies. I'm not British, so I assumed these were some kinda British slang for window squeegees (or maybe washrags) and a large cleaning sponge. Perhaps STM has made up his own slang?

    Ooo! Any chance you can do some of your stuff in dog clothing? I have a crazy dog who LIKES to wear clothing. (But she only likes dresses and only if they've got pink in them.) She refuses to leave the house if naked. I'd love to get the Disco one and this one on an outfit for my Minnie The Moocher as well.

    2: The nerd in me must say---Apocalypse Now is a retelling of Conrad's Heart of Darkness, so the "the horror...the horror..." reference is Conrad via Kubrick in this case.

    I'm currently in pastry school, and I just recently finished my breads unit where we made 6 strand braided challah, so the first quote is AMAZING! I forwarded it to my Chef so she'd get a laugh out of it too :)
    (plus she's Jewish so it's even better!)

    Lol now that I listened to the bread one I realize it's even funnier than I thought just reading it... I didn't know challah was pronounced more like horror rather than pronouncing it like the Australian bird galah
